Terms and Conditions


Orders

All orders will be dispatched within 48 hours of receiving payment.
We ship 5 days per week.

Books and records purchased together will be shipped separately.

Payment Options

Bank deposit

Payment into our bank account is our preferred payment option. Our details are:

Cheques

Please add 50 cents to the invoice total and write your order reference number on the back of the cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Okara Books and Records and sent to:

Cash

We accept cash payment which is posted at the buyer's own risk. Please write your order reference number on the back of the envelope.

Okara Books and Records does not recommend that cash be mailed for payment of products. If the Customer does mail cash, Okara Books and Records accepts no responsibilty for the theft, loss or otherwise non-delivery of mailed cash.

Credit Cards

Due to the comparatively high transaction and commission costs we currently do not accept credit card payments. We are assessing the viability of using this medium however and will review this decision on an ongoing basis. Please let us know using the contact us page if you would like us to accept credit card payments.



International Orders

We currently only accept orders from within New Zealand. However, if you are an overseas visitor to our website and wish to order a book please use the contact us form and we can arrange costs, including shipping, and expected delivery times.



TERMS OF TRADE

Items ordered will be withdrawn from sale and will be held for 10 days until payment in full is received by Okara Books and Records. Failure to pay will result in items ordered being placed "back on-okara.co.nz" for sale. Okara Books and Records accepts no responsibility for non receipt of payment due to factors beyond its control such as banking errors or postal delays.

Limitation of Liability: Okara Books and Records shall not be liable to the Customer for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the purchase, use or performance of products, or any shipping damages.

Refunds: Refunds will be given at the discretion of company management.

Addressing: If a product is found to be mis-addressed by Okara Books and Records then Okara Books and Records shall be responsible for the re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the product. If the Customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then Okara Books and Records will not refund or resend the product and all responsibilty for correcting delivery will be borne by the Customer.

Incorrect Bank Account Number: Okara Books and Records gives the customer the choice to pay for products through bank transfer. If the Customer credits money to the incorrect bank account number, and the correct number was provided to the Customer by Okara Books and Records, then Okara Books and Records will not accept any responsibilty for correcting payment and the goods will not be dispatched.

Condition/Grading: Our Gradings are based on the U.K. record collector system, not on goldmine. Please ensure that you are familiar with the condition/grading of the book/s or record/s you are ordering. The condition/grading of each individual item can be seen when you click on the item.

GST: For New Zealand delivery addresses, all prices are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated.
